About me

Who I Am

Hi, I’m Ben Grimsey. I’m a worship leader and church creative with a heart for helping people encounter the presence of God through Spirit-led, Scripture-rooted worship. I came to faith in Christ at age 13 and was baptized the following year. Not long after, God began shaping in me a deep love for the Church and a desire to lead others in worship. I also have I’ve been married to my wife, Caitlin, since 2019. She is my greatest support and closest partner in life and ministry, and I am deeply grateful for the way God has shaped me through our marriage.For over seven years, I’ve led worship, discipled musicians, and helped cultivate Christ-centered worship cultures across multiple churches and ministry contexts. I currently serve as the Creative Arts Coordinator at Creekside Church in Pryor, Oklahoma, where I lead and support worship, production, and creative teams in both student and weekend environments.Worship, to me, is more than singing—it is the orientation of our entire lives toward God. “Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name” (1 Chronicles 16:29) has become a guiding conviction, reminding me that our highest calling is to shape our lives around the glory of Christ. This belief shapes how I lead: connecting the songs we sing to the truth of Scripture, pointing people to the work of the Holy Spirit, and helping leaders grow as disciples, not just musicians.

My theology is rooted in the historic Christian faith and shaped by the authority of Scripture, the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit. I affirm belief in one triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and hold a high view of Scripture as the inspired, authoritative Word of God. I believe salvation is by grace through faith in Christ, that the Church is the unified body of Christ, and that the Holy Spirit actively sanctifies and empowers believers for ministry.
